BILZ Y PAP “NABILZPAP”

2024 / 8 pieces / 40 seconds

The council has decided what will be done for this new Nabilzpap! The new pop drink brought to us by Bilz and Pap has the wonderful and unique flavor of the Candy Cane, evoking the magic and fun of the season.
With a fun and creative commercial, we focus on highlighting the traditions of Chilean Christmas through a majestic conference hall, where uniquely designed characters take the Christmas spirit to new horizons. Among them are an eager elf dressed in summer clothes, an elegant and refined Duchess potato, a half-melted snowman, and, at the core of the brand, the family that helps reach a consensus along with Bily and Maik. Together, they transmit the essence of Christmas with a refreshing and authentic touch.

01 CONCEPT ART

The diversity of character designs and the setting was key to capturing the essence of this celebration. Bringing to life multiple characters of the holiday, such as toys, traditional foods, and sparkling decorations.

02 STORYBOARD

When proposing the storyboard, we mainly focused on creating dynamic transitions, comedic situations, and cinematic moments to showcase the new product of the brand.

03 STYLEFRAMES

Through cinematography, we managed to express emotions that are difficult to put into words. This allowed us to visually show that explosion of joy and surprise, taking the expression beyond what verbal language can convey.

04 PROCESS

To achieve a dynamic and exaggerated style, animators used reference recordings as a base to analyze body movement dynamics. Thanks to their expertise, they were able to develop extreme poses that were both coherent and fun.

05 ANIMATION

We had the opportunity to incorporate abrupt movements and unique angles, which allowed us to highlight the dynamism and creativity of the piece. Using the “goofy animation” style, we blocked some cameras and exaggerated the characters’ gestures to intensify the comedy and create a stronger connection with the audience.
