BLUEZON

Blue Express is a new service offered by Copec (a Chilean gas station company) designed to make order delivery easier, faster, and more convenient. The service comes to life through Bluezone, a charismatic and self-confident mailbox that conveys trust and efficiency. In this project, our mission as an animation studio was to bring Bluezone to life, turning it into a memorable character.
Drawing on our experience in exploring and developing techniques, we successfully blended live-action footage with 3D animation through the use of tracking.
03 STYLEFRAMES
Along with the recorded footage, the character’s mouth was integrated while simulating the real lighting present in the filmed scenes, resulting in a realistic and seamless integration.
04 PROCESS
To incorporate animation into the already filmed footage, tracking techniques were used. This method allowed the 3D elements to be seamlessly integrated into the environment, ensuring they could interact convincingly with their surroundings.
05 ANIMATION
For the integration of Bluezone’s mouth into the live-action footage, the mouth was designed and animated to simulate the operation of a puppet when articulating phonemes. This approach allowed us to achieve a visually pleasing result.
